This beautiful kilim Runner is from Kars and belongs to the 1930s. The artisan used flat weave technique when she weaved this rug. It is handmade and one of a kind.
Natural hand-spun wool was used for this rug. Although the rug was weaved in the 1930s, the lady used 19th century's patterns. The patterns fit well in our modern houses this century. Even though the rug is an old piece, it is in very good condition. The rug got washed and cleaned professionally. All restoration was completed and ready for use.
